Sub Plots!

* The Rulers of Eosinth wish to relieve the world of the vampiric curse and the curse of slavery. Therefore, before cleansing their own land of slavery (Seeing as they have the largest slave population of all the kingdoms), King Randal and Queen Sophia have decreed that all hunters bearing their seal (A blazing sun, after the one god they worship), will receive a weapon enchanted with the abilities of the sun, and set forth to the Castle to destroy all they can. Problem is, those enchanted swords, maces and arrows were made by a weary old wizard, and perhaps will work once or twice at most.
* Pirates that patrol the channel between the mainland and the White Kingdom of the Pearls are rumored to be a crew of half undead, half mortal (The night shift and the day shift), and the reports to the king and queen, about these being slave traders are starting to wear on their nerves, and their determination to ignore the Castle are similarly starting to wane. Letters addressed to the Vampire known only as Angel beg for peace on the high waters, and threaten that war will begin if it does not.
* Whether an escaped slave knows it or not, their best bet is to pray that they are captured by a hunter from the Arctic Kingdom of the Wind, as not only is the hunter lavishly rewarded, but the slave is released of the bonds of the bracelet, and are granted a small bag of gold which they can use however they please, mostly to return to their homeland. The reward is so great for some hunters, that they actually seek out the castle to pull a slave from the cages or the shackles to bring them back to their kingdom. The hunters are not concerned with killing Vampires or harming anyone, they more or less just enjoy stealing slaves.
* The Queen of the Lunar Kingdom has passed away! They say she had contracted a disease from being such a faithful patron of the Castle. The king is grief stricken, and to save face he has decreed the slave trade ceased (That doesn't mean the black market stopped however), and that any man or woman taking pleasure slaves to the Castle will hereby be put to death.
* Rumors are flying everywhere around the castle about the strange occurrences after the Slumber. Some say they will pass by Angel with a kind word to the elder, and later that day they will see Angel again, and he will have no memory of the incident at all! The first three were able to shrug this off, but as the numbers grew of those that had seen this happen, they are growing suspicious, but they don't yet know what's going on.
* The old man who used to run the Prison of the Wicked has died after he got too close to a prisoner's cell, and now the position of head torturer Keeper of the prisoners is up for grabs. Trouble is, there aren't any villagers with the guts to watch after the prisoners that come from the castle itself.
